Tom has worked in the games industry for over eight years,  writing for a wide variety of publications as well as working with developers and publishers of all sizes during his time working in PR and gaming events.

During his time in PR Tom worked on titles like Overwatch, Everest VR, World Of Warcraft, Enter The Gungeon, Rock Band 4, Prison Architect and many others, teaching him how to hone in on a game’s USP and leverage it in order to get it the attention it deserves.

Throughout his tenure as a copywriter and consultant, Tom has worked with a wide range of different clients. Whether it’s providing gaming insights for PepsiCO, consulting PR agencies on how to win gaming clients, providing copy for PlayStation store pages, honing scripts for Xbox’s 2022 Gamescom conference, or writing social copy for Candy Crush, Call Of Duty, Team 17 and Kellogg’s, Tom has amassed a wealthy of consultancy and copywriting experience with clients of all sizes across the tech and gaming world.

Tom has also provided consultancy services for numerous games, working with developers and publishers like Techland, Devolver Digital, Coffee Stain Publishing, CCP Games, Fireshine Games, and many more. He has also provided copy and consultancy for world leading agencies like We Are Social, Explosive Alan, Reach Media and Biborg.

This experience led Tom to giving talks on PR and journalism at Staffordshire University, contributing to an upcoming book on the most culturally significant video games, as well as hosting an indie game panel at Pocket Gamer Connects.
